One of my hobbies is taking pictures. Notice I didn't say I was a "photographer," because that would imply that when I take my pictures I have a keen knowledge of things like "f - stops" (whatever they are) and light settings and things like that. Fact is, that I do have a fairly expensive digital camera which was state-of-the-art when I bought it two years ago, but now is somewhat comparable to the single use "point and shoot" variety I suppose.

However, that doesn't amount to much as far as I'm concerned, because the one I have works fine for me. Thanks to a very powerful Dell 8200 series computer in conjunction with some excellent photo processing software, one can actually pretend to be pretty good these days. So, this spot on the web is reserved for sharing some of my favorite photos with all of you. They will be sorted into galleries, and I'll start you off with a few already posted elsewhere on the site. More will be coming soon, I promise.
